To Fill your CE5 Clearomizer: 1. Hold the clearomizer upside down. 2. Unthread the metal base (at what would be the bottom of your clearomizer), and set aside. 3. Fill V-Lixir down the sides of the tube, and fill to just under the lip of the center hole (be sure to avoid the hole in the center). When full, the CE5 clearomizer holds approximately 1.8mls. 4. Thread the metal base back on. 5. Begin enjoying your e-cigarette! :-) NOTE: Be sure to not let it run too dry before refilling as that could lead to a burnt taste.
Changing your Bottom Dual Coil Atomizer: Your atomizer coils have an average lifespan between 5 - 15 days (depending on your vaping habits). When the atomizer coil wears down, it may begin to leak, taste burnt or be hard to draw from. We offer replacement atomizers in a 5-Pack for $14.99.
To change your atomizer coil: 1. Hold the clearomizer upside down. 2. Unthread the metal base from the clearomizer, and set the clearomizer aside. 3. Unthread the atomizer from the metal base, and discard. 4. Before attaching a new atomizer, we recommend priming the wicks by adding a single drop of V-lixir to each wick (the wick is the polyfil poking out on both sides of the atomizer). This helps prevent your atomizer from burning our prematurely. 5. Thread the new atomizer into the metal base. 6. Thread the base back onto the clearomizer, and begin using!
When unfastening the base of your clearomizer for a refill, the seals are temporarily broken and V-Lixir may leak from the mouthpiece or escape into the center tube. Always wrap a cloth or piece of tissue around the mouthpiece when unfastening the base of the clearomizer.
The metal tube in the center of the clearomizer leads from the mouthpiece to the battery end. Avoid getting any V-Lixir in this tube when filling the clearomizer. Gurgling noise or leaks: This is a sign that the V-Lixir has found its way into the metal tube in the center of the clearomizer (and usually occurs after a refill). Ridding the center tube of liquid will resolve the issue. To do so without emptying the clearomizer, remove it from the battery, wrap a cloth or tissue around the bottom of the clearomizer and blow through the mouthpiece through the metal tube. The atomizer coil can unfasten when unthreading the tube or base. Always secure the atomizer coil before reinstalling the base. When possible, keep the clearomizer full and never below one third full of V-Lixir. This helps maintain the seal in the clearomizer and prevent leaks.
